Belfast

First things first, you have to know you are in Northern Ireland now, which is a part of the United Kingdom. So you will need British Pounds (£) up here and NOT Euros (€).

Belfast is a nich small, managable city so public transport isnt all that necessary.

An absolute essential element of visiting Belfast is the Black Cab Tours. The Black Cab Tours will drive you around Belfast and give you more in depth knowledge than anyone else can. Delve deep into the cities troubled history and see the effects it has on today’s current affairs. With the murals telling a story for themselves. At around £30 GBP, this is a bargain, especially when you can split the fare between a couple of your friends.

After the tour, make sure to hit the dockyards and see where the great Titanic ship was built. The once, biggest ship in the world was constructed here, with a fantastic museum built and a certain Leonardo DiCaprio, immortalising this ships tragic story in the history books. Visit the self-guided Titanic museum for £17.50 GBP. It is a bit pricey, but worth it.

After all your tours, you will not struggle to find a pint. With Kelly Cellars a favourite watering hole of mine.

While you are this far north, make sure to go see The Giants Causeway and The Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. Two spectacular sights for the eyes. You do not have to pay for either (as long as you don’t use their car parks), but to cross the bridge is £11 GBP.
